The Beginning
Eight years ago, I kicked off this journey crafting bespoke industrial furniture after becoming a welder and teaching myself joinery on the side. What started as a passion project in my spare time has grown into a full-on family business, with my wife by my side, helping bring every custom piece to life. Each order is made by hand, built to last, and designed just for you. Down the road, we hope to pass the torch to our son, keeping this craft in the family and continuing to make furniture that’s as unique as our customers.
The Wood
The Finish
All of our indoor furniture is finished with a wax polish. The application of wax intensifies the grain pattern whilst protecting the timber with a water resistant finish. We recommend applying a clear coat of wax once a year to keep your item looking brand new.
Outdoor Furniture will be finished in a clear weatherproof lacquer for protection.
Wood Characteristics
Each piece is unique and may differ slightly to the pictures shown.
It is normal for boards to have minor notches, dents, small cracks and general signs of life. The grain and knot patterns vary from board to board, all of which adds to the character of the overall pieces.
We hand select all our individual pieces of timber, for each and every order.
Looking for only the highest quality lengths, ensuring a higher grain density, and opting for the pieces with more visible grains and knots, to achieve that natural rustic feel.
For your peace of mind, all our timber is Kiln-Dried to a moisture content found in an average home.
Sustainability
Our choice of timber is grown in environments that cause a slower growth rate and tighter grain, this provides higher levels of strength and stability. Which is sourced from sustainable forests which are Chain of Custody certified.
The Steel
All of our steel work is professionally welded and fabricated in house.
We have 2 steel finish options as standard:
•Raw steel clear coat. The welding and grinding marks from production will be visible, giving you that authentic industrial, rustic feel to your home. The clear coat will lock in that image, preventing any rust or corrosion for life!
•Black finish. If you’re looking for a more minimalistic base, to further highlight that authentic, rustic wooden top.
